We've been busy adding Authologie's prompt and side quest challenges to StoryGraph's challenge section and into Goodreads as lists. This is a constantly changing and dynamic resource, as we all contribute to building the information about our challenges. You can use both to plan your next read and see what others have chosen for each prompt. Alongside adding the books you read for each prompt, you can also add extra books you’d recommend which match the prompts. In order to keep this resource accurate, please, only add books you have read and know fit the prompt.
Here's how to find us and join the fun!
STORYGRAPH (app and browser):
Open the app and tap the medal icon at the bottom or open the website www.thestorygraph.com on your browser, sign in.
Find 'Challenges' in the main menu at the top.
Tap ‘Add a Challenge’.
Search for ‘Authologies Promptastic Book Club’ in the ‘search by challenge title or host’ field.
When the challenge appears, select your Year Group by tapping ‘View the Challenge’.
Tap ‘Join Challenge’ to start.
Log your reads against each prompt by tapping the '+' sign.
GOODREADS (browser only):
Open the website, www.goodreads.com on your browser, sign in.
Click 'Browse' in the main menu at the top.
Tap ‘Community' and then 'Groups'.
Search for ‘Authologies Promptastic Book Club’ in the search field.
When the group appears, click the link.
Click ‘Join Group’ to start.
In the menu within the group, click 'Discussions'.
You will see a list of topics discussed. Click your Year Group challenge discussion.
The list of prompts will appear. Clicking on each will take you to the list for that prompt where books can be browsed, added and inspiration gained for those tricky prompts.
Log your reads by adding a book and voting for it against each prompt.
We have search tags available in goodreads. You'll see them in your journals. They appear as 'promptastic___' followed by the prompt title with no spaces or punctuation. For example, #promptasticimnotafraidofthedark. Please tag your books if you can with these, you can use them to search for books others have read for each prompt too when outside the lists.
Happy reading and logging!
Seraphina
